Scrambled eggs is one of the easiest dishes one can make: it's fast, tasty and simple. Yet, if you use too high heat, orscrambled_eggs too low heat, or if you stir it too much or not enough, you're eggs won't be as good. Perfect scrambled eggs are creamy, yet not under-cooked and soft in consistency. So how do you make perfect scrambled eggs?

Let's start with the cookware.

While you can make scrambled eggs in a regular stainless steel skillet, most people prefer non-stick for a reason. Eggs and non-stick go hand in hand since the eggs won't get stuck in the pan. Other alternatives are cast-iron or copper pans which transfer heat well and cook eggs nicely. You do have to be a little more careful to make sure the eggs won't stick if you use stainless steel, cast-iron or copper, then it's a good idea to use a little more butter.

A silicon spatula or a wooden spoon works best for stirring.
We usually go for 4-5 eggs for two servings, but that of course depends on how hungry you are.

How To Make Scrambled Eggs:

1. Warm the eggs up a little by placing them in a bowl of warm water – or even better take out the eggs about 30 minutes to an hour before you start so they won't be so cold.

2. Next, break the eggs and whisk them together in a bowl. Add a tablespoon of water or milk and about ½ teaspoon of salt plus some freshly ground pepper.

3. Put your pan on the stove on medium heat. Once the pan is warm, add about 1 tablespoon of butter. Once the butter is bubbly, spread it out with your spatula. Make sure the pan is warm enough for the butter to melt, but not so hot that it starts to burn.

4. Pour the egg mixture into the pan. Wait a few seconds and let it set before you start stirring. Lower the heat and move your spatula slowly around in the pan, not too fast. Tilt the pan a little to let some of the eggs gather on the sides and cook. When the eggs start to set, stir some more to distribute the “creaminess.”

5. If you want to add cheese or herbs to your scrambled eggs, then now would be a good time. Add the flavorings, and plate the eggs. Serve immediately.

Tip! Eggs get cold very quickly. If you want to ensure that your eggs stay warm a little longer, then serve the scrambled eggs on warm plates.
