A flavored salt made from ground celery seeds that are oval in shape and light brown in color. Taste is similiar to table celery with a warm slightly bitter flavor.

Celery salt is a great seasoning for Bloody Mary cocktails, salads, stews, coleslaw, creamy soups, dressings, meats and vegetable juices.

1 teaspoon of celery salt can be substituted for 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon celery seeds and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
