| | The margarita glass with its familiar shape (a stemmed glass with a 6 to 19 oz bowl that is narrow at first and then widens out) will make any drink feel interesting, however these are usually used for serving margarita drinks. Of course you could serve a classic margarita in any glass, but it sure won't feel as special.
When serving a classic margarita in this glass, you usually dip the very wide rim first in triple sec or simple syrup, and then in salt (some drinks use colored sugar). After this is done, you pour the drink into it either from a shaker or a blender. You could serve the margarita slushy in this glass or strained. However if you want to serve it over ice, then it's probably better to serve it in a tall collins glass or highball glass.
To invest in margarita glasses could feel limiting since you might not make margaritas very often. However, the larger bowl and wide rim is actually perfect for serving desserts such as chocolate mousse or sorbet ice cream in as well, this would make for a very pretty presentation.
