It makes it much easier to work with icing on cakes or cupcakes to do a precise job. We also like the smaller version also to do smaller jobs. The flexible spatulas works pretty well but for icing we don't really like the silicon versions. Wilton makes great cake and decorating products and you can't really go wrong with their products.
