We have never used quarter sheet pans before, although this size is great for candy making or smaller dishes. One thing you really feel right away is the weight. It is really heavy and sturdy, and in our experience non-stick jelly roll or half sheet pans are flimsy, and scratch easily. This model is a little expensive but should last a long time.
