Maybe price... Conclusion: This is one of the most useful pieces in the kitchen. You can go from making rice to mashed potatoes because the size is just perfect. As with all of the clad-type pots it heats very evenly. It is really a perfect size and it is not too large to store. We just leave it on the stove all the time because it is one of most useful pots to have around. If you were creating the perfect kitchen setup this would be one of the pieces you would include.
