Description: Long, narrow bamboo cutting board.

Pros: Bamboo, nice cutting surface.

Cons: None.

Conclusion: This is not the first bamboo board we have tested and we like the material very much. We have never had a problem with warping and bamboo has a very tight fiber so that water and other liquids do not soak in as easily as other types of wood.

In general we prefer wood cutting boards to plastic or glass, simply because of the damage these tend to cause knives. Glass can also be slippery so it is safer to use wood.

It is nice to be able to have many shapes and sizes of cutting boards around and this is the first of this shape we have had the opportunity to use.
