Pros: Perfect to use for salt instead of using a salt shaker or grind. Every time you pour out of it, 1 tsp of salt comes out, making it easy to measure. Very cheap jar that is easy to find in most kitchen stores. Cons: Due to its relatively small size, it needs to be refilled frequently. Also, there has to be enough content in the bottle/jar when pouring, or else nothing comes out. Conclusion: Such a simple and clean jar for salt, sugar or other content. Any spice that is used with some frequency would be excellent to keep in this jar, or why not serve maple syrup or honey in this on the table. Simpler, cheaper and easier to clean than most jars and bottles.
