The double walls allow you to hold on to the glass when filled with a hot liquid and possibly also keep the drink hot/cold longer. Cons: The glasses are very thin and probably easy to break, although we have used these glasses quite heavily and the glasses have not seemed to weaken as yet. Conclusion: We think these glasses are lovely. The design is beautiful yet delicate and makes any drink feel special. This particular size makes it excellent to serve cappuccinos in, although we have also used them for smaller servings of hot chocolate and chai tea, as well as cold drinks and liquor.
