It has two small handles on both sides, making it easy to carry, as this pan has a great weight and thickness to it. Like all All Clad products, there are no sharp edges and its bottom is not reinforced with layers of other materials. This model also comes with a sturdy lid. Pros: This pan is all around simple and elegant. The saucier-like inside is smooth and makes it easy to whisk or stir when making polenta or risotto. The thick uniform steel heats evenly and makes a wonderful surface as all heat is distributed evenly. Cons: We can't think of anything negative to say about this pan. Conclusion: This 3 quart pan is perfect for soups, stir fry, polenta, steel-cut oats and risotto among other things. We use this pan heavily and have not found its equal. We particually like the two small side handles and rounded design. It is perfect for dishes that require simmering and the size is perfect to create a dish for at least four.
