In many of my projects I use some of the same products repeatedly, like my tools. Many times I also use the same building materials, like certain types of screws, or plywood.

I've been living in Virginia now for just about 2 years and for this entire time I've been trying to find baltic birch plywood and it seemed like no one here ever used it, but I finally found it at in Richmond.

Recently I bought a couple of sheets of 1/2" and 3/4" and the prices were resonable, ~ $50 a sheet. I have a couple projects coming up so I am looking forward to using this for the first time in over 2 years.

Since I've been in Virginia I've been using PureBond from HomeDepot. It's what I used on my latest desk build. It's a great cabinet plywood, good veener and no voids. Years ago I used their mahogany and walnut for projects so I've got nothing but good things so say, other than don't cheap out on your projects and use A/C plywood when you are building furniture. Paint will not save you!
