Lemon Lime Sherbet
This is one of the simple desserts that you would over-pay for at a very nice restaurant. Made only with lemons, limes, ice, simple syrup and light cream right out of the ice cream machine it is light and fluffy, almost like whipped egg whites or butter. Method - make a simple syrup (3/4 cup sugar, 3/4 cup water)
- 2 cups ice
- 1 cups lemon/lime juice
- 1 cups light cream (half and half)
Add all the ingredients to a blender and mix. Pour into a prepared ice cream machine. Serve or freeze.
