For a couple months now we have been enjoying Greek yogurt for breakfast, and sometimes as a snack with fruit and some walnuts. This brand of Greek yogurt is a lot less tangy than the plain yogurt we normally have around. And because it has been drained it is easier to use than standard yogurt in an ice cream machine, you can use regular yogurt but you should drain it for an hour or two with cheese cloth to get rid of excess water first. Method Add 1 quart of chilled Greek yogurt to a bowl and add the sugar and fruit jam. Mix together well and then add to your ice cream machine. When the yogurt first comes out after 30 minutes it seems quite sweet, but after freezing for 24 hours the texture and taste was much improved. This simple recipe is very flexible, you can use less or more of any ingredient to alter the taste and texture.
