A really nice guacamole is perfect to serve with nachos, tacos, burritos and more. Or why not serve guacamoleguacamole as a dip with fresh vegetable crudités...

The secret to a classic guacamole is to use soft Hass avocados that you can easily mash with a fork. Fresh cilantro adds that necessary fresh herbiness and garlic and jalapeno peppers add flavor and some kick. To smoothen the guacamole slightly, we like to add some sour cream. Fresh lime juice or lemon juice adds a nice acidic addition that also prevents browning.

For more texture, add freshly chopped tomatoes and white onion.
