This is a very easy and appetizing recipe. The flavors of the herbs, lemon and garlic in creamy cheese goes very well with fresh salmon and gives it that little extra something.

Servings: 4

Ingredients:
4 salmon fillets
about 1/2 cup of cream cheese (4 oz.)
2 pressed garlic cloves
zest and juice of 1/4 of a lemon
2 tbsp (good amount) of finely chopped herbs (here we used parsley, but basil or dill would also do nicely)
salt
pepper

Method:
Mix the cream cheese well with garlic, zest and juice, herbs and salt and pepper. Place the salmon fillets on a sheet pan either covered with aluminum foil or a non-stick silpat. Put some olive oil on the fillets and salt lightly.

Distribute the cheese mixture on the four fillets. If the fillets are thick enough, cut a little pocket in the middle of the fish and put the mixture inside, otherwise just put on top of the fish.

Bake in a 350-400 degree oven for ca 15 min or until the fish is done but still moist.

Serve either with potatoes, rice, or on a bed of spinach or greens.
