Here we have a quite simple soup where the cost is mainly set by the fresh basil, the peas and the sour cream. Fresh basil is usually, unless in season quite expensive and this soup utilizes a lot of it.

If you don't have any roasted peppers on hand - try some sun dried tomatoes or fresh tomatoes if they have nice flavor...
